Years ago, while traveling to Mexico for my uncle's wedding, I had the opportunity to visit an opal mine outside Mexico City. There, I purchased this vibrant Mexican fire opal directly from the people who brought it out of the earth.
After years tucked away in my collection, this remarkable stone has finally found its place.
Handcrafted in sterling silver and brass, The Solstice Pendant features a fiery Mexican opal surrounded by golden sunburst rays. Its flashes of orange, green, and gold seem to capture sunlight from within, making every angle a little different.
A piece that traveled across borders, waited patiently through the years, and finally became something new.
